Xi’an is 1,200 km south-east of Beijing. Xi’an was the capital to 11 dynasties over a period of 4,000 years. Today Xi’an is the capital of Shaanxi province.
Most famous for the Terracotta Army discovered in 1974, Xi’an has a lot more to offer. We loved the city centre with it’s still intact city walls build in 1370.
